(01) First round

Three drafts before you pay anything

The hardest part of ordering a website is paying up front for something you cannot picture. So I make you three different proposals for how your site could look — free and with no obligation. If you like none of them, you walk away owing nothing.

    What I would do in your position — my best judgement for your industry.

  2. A different direction

    Deliberately something else, so you can see the difference. People often only realise here what they actually want.

  3. Your idea

    If you have a site in mind that you like, send it — I make the third proposal in that direction.

(02) Second round

And then onward together

Three drafts are not the end of the drawing, they are the start of the conversation. You do not have to take any of them as it is.

    You tell me what works

    You pick the one closest to what you want — or tell me you had something else entirely in mind. Both are equally useful to me. I write down everything you say.

  2. /02

    I make two more designs

    Following your notes I draw two more versions. At this point I am no longer guessing: I draw from what you told me, and the difference between the first and second round is usually large.

  3. /03

    You pick one and we finish it

    We keep refining the chosen version until it is what you wanted. There is no rush here — the site goes live when you are happy with it too.

The prices listed are net amounts. Because the work runs through the Slovenian student employment service, the final invoice is issued by the service, so statutory contributions, levies and VAT are added to the net amount. You will receive the exact total in the formal quote.

Process.

  1. A conversation

    Half an hour on the phone or over coffee. I ask what your business does and what you want the site to achieve. No charge, no commitment.

  2. Three drafts — free

    I make three different proposals for how your site could look and send them to you. The three are free and commit you to nothing — if you like none of them, you walk away and we are square. If one is close, you tell me what you would change, and from your notes I draw two more versions. From those you pick the right one.

  3. A fixed-price quote

    Once you pick a draft you get a written quote: what the site includes, what it costs and when it will be done. The price does not change during the build unless you ask for something new.

  4. Collecting content

    I send you a simple checklist: texts, photos, logo, opening hours. If something is missing, I help write or shoot it. This is the only step where I really need you.

  5. Build and revisions

    You get a link to the live site you can open on your phone and show to anyone. Tell me what you do not like — revisions are included in the price.

  6. Going live

    I put the site on your domain, register it with Google and check everything works. You also get a short video showing what you can edit yourself.

  7. Afterwards

    The site is yours. If you want, I take over maintenance (hosting, backups, small changes) for a monthly fee. If not, I hand over all access and you go your own way.

I know nothing about computers. Is that a problem?

No. That is actually the most common case. All I need from you is an explanation of your work — I handle everything technical. If you will edit the site yourself, I show you on a video call and record it so you can rewatch it any time.

What do I pay for besides the build?

Two things, both small. The domain is your web address (e.g. yourcompany.si). That is a yearly cost of about €20 — it applies even without a maintenance plan, because the domain is yours. Hosting is the space the site lives in and belongs to maintenance, not to the build; it is included in every maintenance plan, even the cheapest. From the Standard plan up the domain is included too; on Basic you pay it separately.

Not sure what you need?

That is the most normal situation and there is nothing wrong with it. Call or write two sentences about what you do — I will tell you what I would do in your position and what it would cost. If we find you do not need a website at all, I will say so.
